A Grade Pennants - Finals - Results
The Finals of the A Grade Pennants for 2020 were conducted on Sunday March 15 at Charlestown GC.

The finalists in Division 2 were the undefeated Pacific Dunes and Muree, finalists for the past 4 years.
The final was a very closely contested event with 4 matches for Pacific Dunes being decided with 1 up results. A good win to Rod Smilie anchored the win to Pacific Dunes by a margin of 5 to 3 - despite clear wins to Muree's Steve Hassett and Matt Dorney in the No.1 and No.2 positions.
This win ensures Pacific Dunes being propmoted to Division 1 in the 2021 series.

The Division 1 final did not disappoint - with 2 very evenly matched teams. The finalists were the undefeated pennant winners from 2019, Merewether, and the recently promoted Newcastle which contained 2 players who defected across from the Merewether's team of 2019.
Good wins to No.1 Josh Robards , No.2 Daniel Terry and No.6 Luke Ferrier anchored the win for Newcastle but with other matches close - it was not until Tom De Witt won on the 19th hole in his match against Nick Zuccon that the win for Newcastle was secured.. The final score was 5.5 to 2.5
