The NDGA Representative team of 8 Opens and 4 Juniors travelled to Shoalhaven Heads on the weekend of September 9/10 to take on the might of Golf Illawarra - in the bi-annual match for the David Wood trophy.

The NDGA team was 2 players short - with GI providing last minute substitutes.

The weather was great - the course was in excellent condition.     An enjoyable weekend of good golf.

These contests are usually close affairs - and this time was no exception.    The result was a 9 all draw - with Golf Illawarra retaining the trophy

The NDGA again were leading after the Saturday Fourballs - but could not sustain the form on the Sunday - particularly the Juniors who went pointless.
