NDGA Representative Team for Match against Lower North Coast DGA
The 2021 Representative season for the NDGA starts with our first match against the Lower North Coast DGA at Harrington GC on Sunday May 30.
This will have been our first Rep match since 2019 - with the 2020 matches all adversely affected by Covid restrictions.
This match will be a one day event with 10 players from each District playing individual matchplay and playing for the Les Evitt Shield - 6 x Seniors and 4 x Juniors. With availability of Juniors being an issue for the LNCDGA - the make up of our Junior squad will be a deviation from our standard selection method. The Juniors will be playing handicap matchplay and have been selected on the basis of approximately matching handicaps with the juniors from LNCDGA.
Play will commence at 9.00am on Sunday May 30. Accommodation has been arranged for all 10 players and 2 officials on the Saturday night at Harrington Village Motel - and an allowance will be paid to cover travel costs (where applicable) and meal costs.
