A recent review into the 2021 Order of Merit competition by the NDGA has resulted in the decision to cancel the Competition being overturned and the Winners declared.

After the Viney Creek Cup last year the Covid restrictions and Health Orders changed to where it looked highly unlikely that the last 7 of the 20 events in the OOM would be held.     Hence the decision was made to cancel the competition, similar to what we had to do in 2020..

Subsequently, only a further 2 events were held - the WE Alexander Open and the NDGA District Champs, delayed until January 2022.   So, in total 15 of the 20 events were completed in the 2021 OOM Competition.

The Review, with the benefit of hindsight concluded that the decision to cancel the event was premature and declared that the 2021 OOM was a valid completion and concluded after 13 events.
