Round 5 of the 2022 A Grade Pennants was scheduled to be held at Charlestown and Shortland Waters on Sunday March 6.

Following a course inspection at both courses today - the NDGA decided that Round 5 would not go ahead this Sunday - but would new postponed until the following Sunday - March 13.    This would have the effect of pushing the Finals back till March 20.

Both courses are considerably wet - with all bunkers out of play and with playing conditions being " Preferred Lies through the Green"..   

Both courses were still considered suitable to play a Club stableford event - but not a major event.

This is essentially using the Spare Day that is incorporated in our Program

With mowing being restricted in recent times - both clubs have excessively long and wet rough - resulting in many stories of plugged and lost balls.

It is to be hoped that the weather forecasts are not fully correct - and the greens staff are able to get the mowers out later in the week - to prepare the courses for next weekend..
