The Semi-Finals of the B & C Grade Pennants were held on Sunday September 11.

Tanilba Bay hosted the B Grade Semis while Pacific Dunes hosted the C Grade Semis

The weather was fine - excellent for golf with a slight breeze.    Preferred lies were in place at both venues.

In the B Grade Semis we saw a draw between Newcastle and Belmont after 18 holes - only to be separated by a first hole playoff win to Newcastle's Derrick Moodley.

In the other B Grade Semi we saw an unexpected lopsided match with Nelson Bay accounting for Waratah by 5 to 1

Thus the Finalists for next week's Final at Hawks Nest will be Newcastle and Nelson Bay.

At Pacific Dunes in the C Grade Semis we witnessed a comfortable win to Charlestown over Tanilba Bay.

In the other Semi we saw a repeat of the B Grade match - with Nelson Bay accounting for Waratah by 4 to 2

Thus the Finalists for next week's Final at Hawks Nest will be Charlestown and Nelson Bay.

Congratulations to our winning teams - particularly Nelson Bay who will be represented in both grades in next week's Finals.
