Finally we got to run a Junior 4-Way tournament - after a couple of years of disruption due to Covid and weather related issues.

The 2022 Junior 4-Way was conducted over the weekend of September 17, 18 at Waratah GC

4 teams of 6 players representing the districts of Central Coast, Hunter River, Newcastle and a Composite team in lieu of Lower North Coast - played for the Col Johnston Shield.

This year we were most fortunate when Col Johnston was able to attend and addressed the presentation with stories from his golfing past.

The format this year was for the first 2 players to play scratch matchplay - with the next four players playing  handicap matchplay.

This year we had players aged from 8 to 17 with a handicap range between 2 and 36

Congratulations to our winner this year - in Hunter River DGA over the Composite Team.
