B & C Pennants - Semi-finals Information

The Semi-Finalists for the 2020 B & C Pennants has almost been decided. Round 7 was disrupted by lousy weather - resulting in the Semi-Finalists only being decided in 3 of the 4 Divisions. The only Division yet to complete is the B Grade South - where 3 Clubs, Belmont, Waratah and Merewether are still contending for the 2 Semi spots.

Securing Clubs to act as venues for the Semis and Finals has been a real issue - with lots of Clubs fully booked on Sundays - or close to it.

Therefore it has been decided to split the Semi-Finals and play the grades at different venues on different days.

The format for the Semi-Finals is - the Winner of the North Division will play the Runner-Up in the South Division. Similarly - the Runner-Up in the North Division will play the Winner of the South Division.

The C Grade Semi-Finalists have been decided - and they will play their Semi-Finals on Sunday November 1 at Hawks Nest GC with tee times from 11.30am

C Grade Semis

11.30am Merewether vs Nelson Bay

11.51am Tanilba Bay vs Belmont

In B Grade the North Division has been concluded with Muree and Nelson Bay reaching the Semi-Finals

Round 7 of the B Grade South Division that was washed out on October 25 - will be concluded on Sunday November 1 at Shortland Waters - same tee times.

As a result of this delay - the B Grade Semi Finals will be held on Sunday November 8 at Charlestown GC with tee times from 11.am

B Grade Semis

11.00am Waratah vs Nelson Bay

11.21am Muree vs Belmont

With Sunday November 15 - NDGA A Grade District Champs and November 22 already occupied with NDGA B & C District Champs - it is envisaged that the earliest that the Finals in both grades can be held will be Sunday November 29. Even this date is problematic as it will clash with final round of Club Champs at Nelson Bay - should they be involved in either Final.
