Charlestown Junior Classic Summary

58 Juniors turned up to play at Charlestown on a glorious Sunday morning with sunny skies, mild temperature and light wind. Charlestown golf club was in excellent condition which led to some great scores. 48 juniors played stroke over 18 holes with a further 12 cadets playing stroke on a modified 9 hole layout

Ava Jones and Taylor Allan both from Nelson Bay GC had an outstanding 18-hole nett scores of 58 and 59 score respectively with 22 other juniors scoring below nett par. Well done to all these district juniors

In the under 17 handicap division Nikhill Pillay from Nelson Bay had a nett 62 and Ryley Kunov from Charlestown had a nett 65, 4 other players had rounds under nett par.

All the juniors thoroughly enjoyed the day and a big shout out to Charlestown GC for putting on a magnificent day on their 50th Anniversary
