The final Junior Classic for 2024 was played at Merewether Golf Club in idealic conditions. 44 juniors lined up to play 18 holes of stroke or stableford and a further 9 junior cadets played a stroke event over 8 modified holes.

It proved to be a very enjoyable day for all the participants and their supporters with good golf, lots of fun on the course, together with a fabulous morning tea and lunch provided by the Merewether club. A big thank you to them for their organisation beforehand and on the day.

The stroke division for players with a GA of under 17.1 was won by Lachlan Lawson, Nelson Bay GC with a score of 72 .Declan Gordon, Waratah GC was runner up with a score of 77

In the stableford division the boys winner was Darcy Chapman, Merewether with a score of 40. Morrison Coates, Charlestown GC runner up with a score of 77 c/b

The girls winner was Zoe Stewart, Nelson Bay GC with as stableford score of 31. Alexis Moanaroa, Waratah GC was runner up with a score of 29
