This year it was a 2 day event - on Sat/Sun June 19,20 - Playing for the David Wood Trophy over the 2 days - and playing for the Artie Mollett Shield on the Sunday results only.

Each Team comprised 6 x Seniors, 4 x Colts and 6 x Juniors.  Saturday saw the teams play Fourball matchplay with a Senior teaming with a Junior..  On Sunday we played 16 matches of Individual matchplay..

Both days the weather was an issue - with windy conditions on the Saturday and intermittent showers on the Sunday.   The overall weather issue was however it was bitterly cold.

After Saturday's Fourball matches the NDGA team found themselves in the unusual position of holding a commanding lead - 6.5 to 1.5

They continued on their winning ways on Sunday in the Individual matches - winning 10 matches to 6

This resulted in an overall win to the NDGA 16.5 to 7.5

The NDGA team contained a couple of 12 year olds in Harry Leggatt and Lachlan Lawson - who both acquitted themselves well - recording wins when teamed with a Senior on Saturday - and recording a close loss on the Sunday.

The next event will be against the Hunter River DGA on Sat/Sun July 24/25.
