The Annual Junior 4-Way tournament was held at Gloucester Golf Club on the weekend of September 16/17

This is the 41st running of this event - and they play for the Col Johnston Shield = named in honour of our own legend, Col

This is contested between the 4 Districts comprising the old Zone 2 - namely - Lower North Coast, Hunter River, Central Coast and Newcastle.

Teams are comprised of up and coming, potential District Rep, Juniors and they play 3 rounds of 9 hole matchplay.

This year was no exception - the course was great, the hospitality was great, the weather was great - and all matches were played in the right spirit.

Our team's behaviour and attitude were exemplary  - and they are a credit to their families, their Clubs and the Newcastle District.

In another very close contest - the Central Coast ran out winners - with the NDGA team a close 3rd.
