the NDGA again conducted an Order of Merit competition for both scratch and nett formats in 2022.

This year again has not been without it's challenges,   We started off with 21 events in the competition - then we had several events postponed mainly due to poor course conditions due to weather related issues. Most of these events were able to be conducted later in the year.   However, 3 events were not conducted - leaving us with 18 events in this years competition.

The last event in the competition is the NDGA District Championships, featuring double points - and these were held at Nelson Bay GC on Sunday November 27.

Note - the Conditions of Play for this competition state that players must participate in a min of 7 events to be considered in the prizes.   This rule excluded quite a few players this year.

Also only 3 players enjoyed a bonus 200 points for playing in 12 events
